The prawns in sparkling wine are the main course of fish simple and refined, ideal for enriching Festive table settings, which can serve also as an appetizer: a preparation fast that captivate your guests. In our recipe, the prawns will be browned in a pan with garlic and extra virgin olive oil and flavoured with the addition of orange juice. We will then make a sauce with sparkling wine and flour, to be added to the prawns before bringing them to the table. In just over 10 minutes your dish will be ready to be served. How to prepare prawns in sparkling wine
Prepare the prawns (1), rinse them and remove the carapace and intestines (2), with the help of a snack. Put them in a pan with a clove of garlic and extra virgin olive oil and brown them (3).
Obtain the juice from an orange (4), strain and set aside. Add the salt and orange juice and cook the prawns (5). Once ready, transfer them to a plate. Pour the sparkling wine into the pan with the flour and let it thicken. Sprinkle the prawns with the sparkling wine sauce, sprinkle with aromatic herbs and serve. Your prawns in sparkling wine are ready to be enjoyed (6).
For the preparation you can also use prawns and replace the sparkling wine with prosecco or champagne, according to your tastes and availability.
You can enrich the preparation with a handful of chopped parsley and blend the prawns with cognac , if you prefer.
Although this is a quick recipe, you can cook the prawns in advance and make the sauce with the sparkling wine just before serving.
