It is prepared in 5 minutes and with few ingredients; hard-boiled eggs, a little mayonnaise and pickled gherkins are enough to obtain a tasty sauce that goes well with many different preparations. 2 boiled eggs
3 tablespoons of mayonnaise
50 g pickled gherkins
juice of half a lemon
Pepper as needed.
Preparation of Tartar sauce
Chop the hard-boiled eggs and gherkins very finely and put them in a large bowl. Now add the mayonnaise, squeeze the lemon juice, then pepper to taste.
Then mix all the ingredients until evenly distributed, obtaining a slightly grainy sauce. Those who want to add a note of freshness to the sauce can add a little chopped parsley. The sauce is ready! It can be consumed immediately or stored in the fridge where it will keep for up to 2 – 3 days.
