Preparation of Pizza Rustica Pesto and Cherry Tomatoes
Mix the white cheese in a bowl together with the pesto to obtain a homogeneous mixture. Then roll out the puff pastry on a circular 26 cm diameter pan and spread the cheese and pesto mixture on it. Now place the cherry tomatoes cut in half on the whole surface, then tuck the flaps of the puff pastry towards the inside of the pan. Then bake the Pizza Rustica Pesto and Cherry Tomatoes in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes. Once the rustic pizza is out of the oven, let it cool down for about twenty minutes, then garnish it with a few leaves of basil and bring it to the table!
