How to make Guava Jelly:
Start by preparing your guava jelly by washing the guavas well and removing the ends.
Then cut the guavas into pieces, pulp and skin included, and blend in a blender until the cream is more or less homogeneous.
Pass the guava cream through a pan, stirring well to filter only the lumps. Transfer to a saucepan and add sugar.
This is the time when you start preparing the guava jelly itself. This will require stirring from time to time for 40 minutes over low heat.
When the candy has thickened and darkened, add the lemon juice and stir a little more. You will know that the guava jelly recipe is ready when, when you pass it with the spoon on the bottom of the pan, the candy doesn’t fill this space (road point). Turn off heat and store in sterilize jars!
