Advice

You can use a roll of ready-made puff pastry (you can find it in the supermarket fridge counter) or you can decide to make it at home with our recipe.

You can use Sicilian broccoli, Apulian broccoli or, alternatively, Romanesco broccoli or cauliflower florets will do just fine. Instead of parmesan, you can add Parmesan or, for a stronger flavour, even a little pecorino.

For the filling, you can replace the cooked ham with speck, salami or pancetta: in the latter case, cut it into pieces and brown them in a non-stick pan for a few minutes; if instead you want to make a vegetarian version, you can omit it and replace it with dried tomatoes, soaked in water for a few minutes, well squeezed and then cut into strips.

storage

The savoury broccoli pie recipe with ricotta can be stored in the refrigerator, in a special container with an airtight seal, for 1-2 days.
